Philippe Sylvestre Dufour/Jacob Spon (tr.): Tractatus novi de potu caphe, de Chinensium the, et de chocolata (Paris: Muguet 1685)

Philippe Sylvestre Dufour (1622-1687) published his treatise on coffee, tea, and chocolate in 1671 under the title De l’usage du caphe, du the, et du chocolate. It seems probable that the original was compiled by Dufour and was translated by Spon. (See NLA catalogue entry) A  French version of the Latin book was published in 1688:

Philippe Sylvestre Dufour:  Traitez nouveau & curieux du cafe‘, du the‘ et du chocolate. Ouvrage  également necessaire aux Medecins , & à tous ceux qui aiment leur santé. Second edition (Lyon: Deville 1688)
