The volume (apparently an excerpt) includes one of the earliest printed illustrations of a Chinese.
Update August 11, 2018:
The attribution to Boissard (seen on the title page of this volume) seems to be erroneous. The illustrations rather are from: Bartolomeo Grassi: “Dei veri ritratti degl’habiti di tutte le parti del mondo, intagliati in rame : libro primo” (Roma 1585).
