The Ideen-Magazin presents plates with architecutral sketches of buildings – in many of the issues there are Chinese-inspired pieces, e.g.: Volume 2, issue 11 (1836) shows a ‚floating garden‘ inspired by Chinese gardens on plate 5, Volume 3, issue 3 (1837), issue 5 (1837) and issue 11 (1838) have more ‚Chinese‘ bridges and pavillions, Volume 4. issue 8 (1841) has a kind of memorial arch.
