The Mémoires historiques provide a translation of Sima Qian’s Shiji 史記, the Records of the Grand Historian. Written between 109 BCE an 91 BCE, the Shiji covers the history of China from the time of the legendary Yellow Emperor until the time it was written. The Chinese text is available online via the Chinese Text Project and at 北京国学时代文化传播有限公司.
